PAYMENT DOCUMENTATION In order to structure payment transfer as smoothly as possible many different components are required, which bring them all into harmonisation. A major element in this respect is the correct production and inscription of the payment transfer forms. For the comprehensive introduction of the scanning technology in the banks the payment transfer forms were obliged to be produced in blind colour print. Attention: The payment and receipt slip and the remittance are exclusively national and can thus only be used within Austria. Already in 1997 there was a standardisation of the order, non-endorsable and bearer cheques, in order to be able to process also this documentation by scanning technology.
