EU STANDARD TRANSFER

With the EU standard transfer (EU internal payment) you can since the middle of 2003 make transfers to each country in the EU at the cost of a domestic transfer.

In accordance with the Regulation (EC) No. 924/2009 of the European Parliament and the European Council of September 16, 2009 concerning cross-border payments in euro, you can undertake as from July 1, 2003 transfers within the European Union as well as to certain EFTA countries at the same conditions as for domestic transfers. This regulation is valid equally for both transfers with documentation or online transfers. In order to be able to undertake foreign transfers at the same price as domestic transfers, some prerequisites, however, must be fulfilled.

Requirements for an EU standard transfer:
  • EU standard transfers can only be undertaken exclusively in euro
  • The maximum amount of EUR 50,000 should not be exceeded
  • The payment must be credited to an account maintained in a EU state
  • The IBAN and the BIC of the recipient must be correctly indicated
  • Transfer fees shall be divided between the sender and the recipient (each pays the fees incurred in his or her corresponding country).
Attention: Orders which do not fulfil these requirements will be carried out as foreign transfers and charged accordingly.
